The Invisible Universe

The following series of images represent an intersection of contemporary physics with art in order to reveal the
genius embodied in the workings of the universe.
Profound concepts of electromagnetic fields and light have been translated into a universal graphical language.
"Escher Vectors" facilitate visualization of a tapestry electric and magnetic fields otherwise invisible to the human eye.

Electric field radiates from charged particles like rays of light from the sun.
By human convention, protons are said to have positive charge and electrons negative charge.
By divine mandate, the two types of particles have absolutely equal, but opposite, charges.
Like charges repell one another and opposites attract.
Electric field radiates outward from protons and inwards towards electrons.
A positive test charge experiences a force in the direction of the electric field.
