The Invisible Universe


Escher Vectors represent the electric field in the entire space surrounding a charge indicating field direction at all points in that space.
But, Escher Vectors convey a backwards message regarding field intensity.
Larger vectors are weaker than small ones.
This makes it useful to represent field intensity as elevation above or below the neutral plane.
As shown below, a small positive test charge would slide downhill and outward from the center according to the slope of the curve below.
A small negative test charge would float upward and inward as a balloon would underneathe the curve.
